Christmas Tree Stands

This year we are offering both our favorite pin stand (stand straight type) that we have sold for many

years and a quality traditional clamp stand, manufactured by Cinco, in three different sizes.

Pin Stand

The one we have offered for several years is called the Super Bowl Stand. It is referred to as a “stand straight” type tree stand because the tree is entirely supported by means of a tapered pin that is attached to the base of the tree stand.

How it works:

The tree has a tapered hole drilled in the center of the tree into which the tapered pin on the tree stand is inserted. (No worries here about drilling a hole in the center of the tree.
The hole doesn’t hurt nor help with intake of water. Water travels up through the tree via a layer on the very outer edge of the tree.) The tree is held in a special machine where it is held perfectly straight.
Once in that position, the operator will drill the tapered hole into the tree. This is done after the fresh cut is made on the trunk. Do not re-cut the trunk after the hole has been drilled as it may affect the sturdiness of the mounting.

Advantages:

Ease of use: Obviously the first advantage is the ease in which the tree is erected once in the home. Every year many customers tell us it’s the greatest tree stand they’ve ever owned.
Sturdy: The base diameter of this stand is 20 inches and provides a nice wide sturdy base to hold the tree. Although it’s only rated for trees up to 8 foot tall, we have many customers using it for larger trees.
Water Capacity: All tree stands should hold at lease 1 gallon of water. This stand holds 1.8 gallons of water.
Lower branches no problem: Traditional tree stands require a straight length of tree trunk that rests against the bottom of the stand and lower branches sometimes interfere with that and need to be cut off. This tree stand an accommodates a tree with branches very close to the bottom of the tree.
Bent or large trunk no problem: Traditional tree stands need a trunk that will fit into the tree stand. If your trunk is too large it may not fit. No problem with this stand because there are no external clamping required. Same if the trunk is a bit crooked at the bottom, the hole will be drilled “straight” into the bottom of the trunk so the trunk itself doesn’t have to be straight.

The only downside is you need to find a tree framer who has the machine and proper size tapered drill bit to make the hole. But then again, coming back to our farm year after year is the plus side!

Traditional clamp type Cinco Tree stand

We are offering a quality plastic tree stand manufactured by on of the leading tree stand manufacturers, Cinco. We are offering this stand in three different sizes. All of these stands have a quick acting clam mechanism that clamps the tree securely to the tree stand. We are offering these at very competitive prices compared to what you typically find online.

For trees up to 8 foot tall

The Cinco 152 Express is just the perfect size up to 8 feet tall. It has a quick and easy to use clamp, holds 1.3 gallons of water and is 18 inches in diameter.

For trees up to 10 foot tall

The Cinco 148 Express will safely hold trees up to 10 feet tall. Quick release and easy to use clamps, holds 2 gallons of water and is 20 inches in diameter.

For trees up to 12 foot tall

The Cinco 144 Express is just what you need for trees up to 12 foot tall. Same quick release and easy to use clamps, holds a whopping 3 gallons of water and has a base that is 24 inches in diameter.
